Pat Casey Takes Top Spot at Red Bull Dreamline 2013

As the most highly anticipated BMX dirt event in 2013, Dreamline did not disappoint! With 32 of the best dirt jumpers and trail riders coming together on top of the Angel Fire Resort mountain in New Mexico, the level of riding could not have been any higher. Once it was whittled down to the final twelve riders the energy on the hill from the fans, judges and competitors alike only grew as the speed and technicality on display went beyond expectation.
In an unlikely turn of events, Pat Casey, originally invited as an alternate, came out with so much style and some of the most insane tricks such as a truck driver to double tailwhip and a 360 to triple tailwhip that he found himself in first place by the day's finish.
"Dreamline is amazing!" exclaimed Casey when asked his thoughts on the event as a whole. "This course is the best thing I've ever ridden for dirt – it really is the Dreamline."
Congratulations to all of the riders that came out and conquered, "the biggest and baddest BMX course ever," as stated by second place finisher TJ Ellis. Be sure to mark your calendars to watch the event on NBC Saturday, Oct. 26 at 4pm ET / 1pm PT to see all the action shot on premium RED cameras!
